Rules and Regulations
The observance of our campground rules and regulations by all guests will ensure
a pleasant stay for everyone. The manager reserves the right to immediately evict
any guest who fails to comply with one or more of these rules and regulations.
There will be no refunds.
General
Rules
--All
Campground guests must register either online with full payment or at the
Campground office.
--Check-in is from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm, and check-out is prior to 12:00
noon. The office is open from 11:00am until 8:00pm.
--Late departure (after the 12:00 noon check-out time) requires permission from
the park manager to avoid being charged for an additional
night at the regular nightly rate plus tax.
--Month to month extended stay guests (28 or more consecutive nights) are
charged for electricity usage at a rate of approximately $.1169 per kWh
plus 5.5% sales tax. The rate varies depending on the rate charged by the
campground’s electricity provider.
--Meters are read on the last day of each month and payment for electricity
usage is due no later than the 10th day of the calendar month. Electricity usage is automatically charged to
the guest’s debit or credit card on file.
--Month to month extended stay guests may NOT use the campground's address as a
residence address. You must rent a post office box or find another way to have
your mail forwarded to you. Packages that are ordered online or
sent from a mail-forwarding service, can be delivered here. Packages are placed
in a metal cabinet outside the office door for you to pick up at your
convenience.
--Month to month extended stay guests begin the monthly rent on the date of
arrival. Rent is due on that day each
month. Guests who depart more than 7
nights prior to their month end will be reverted to and charged the weekly and
daily rates which include electricity usage for their length of stay during the
month of departure.
--All sites are metered for electricity usage, but the nightly and weekly rates
include electricity usage.
--Rent must be paid on time or in advance of the due date. Payments made after
the due date will be subject to an additional $20.00 per day late payment fee.
We accept payment by cash, check, debit, or credit card. A transaction fee will
be applied to payments made by debit or credit card.
-- There are no refunds for early departures.
--Due to ongoing renovations at the park, there is no public restroom or shower
house. All guests must have a self-contained RV.
--All pets must be secured on a handheld leash by an adult at least 18 years
old. A chain, cable, or secure temporary enclosure at your site is also
allowed. A temporary enclosure area at your site cannot exceed 15′ x 30′
and must allow enough space to park your vehicles.
--Do not leave your dog unattended at any time. If your dog tends to bark
excessively, this disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
--Failure to clean up after your pet will result in a $150.00 fine and the
possibility of immediate eviction from the campground.
--If you must leave your pet inside your RV for extended periods during the
summer months, please notify the office (308-765-4260) and leave a phone number
where you can be contacted in case of an emergency.
--All sewer lines must be free from leaks and attached firmly into the
sewer. Use ONLY septic-safe toilet tissue in your bathroom, such as
Angel Soft. Flushable wipes are NOT septic safe – DO NOT FLUSH THEM. You
are responsible for the $500.00 payment to a professional sewer service in the
event of an obstruction caused by you or anyone in
your party.
--Parking is allowed at your site or in overflow parking areas. Do not
park in unoccupied RV sites without management approval. Visitor and
overflow parking is located in front of the office, in the back of the
campground, and on the west side of Acorn Avenue (north of the Pet Playground).
--Your parked vehicle must be completely off the road (no part of your
vehicle can protrude onto any of the roads at any time).
--You are expected to keep your site clean and orderly. All trash must be
bagged and placed inside the dumpster. DO NOT place your trash outside the
dumpsters.
--If there are problems or damages at your site, please inform the manager immediately.
--No open fires or fire pits are permitted on the property However,
charcoal and gas grills are permitted.
--Observe the maximum speed of 5 miles per hour throughout the park.
Drive ONLY on the road and do not use empty sites as a shortcut. Please watch
for children, pets, and wildlife.
--Alcoholic beverages are allowed only at your site. Alcohol
consumption by minors and any public intoxication is
strictly prohibited. Illegal substances are not permitted on the premises.
--The use of firearms, explosives, and fireworks of any kind are not allowed
anywhere on the premises.
--Clotheslines are not allowed. Do not attach anything to the trees,
bushes, or light poles!
--Do not cut or trim bushes or branches without checking with the office. *Let
us know if a branch is affecting your RV or other vehicle.
--Due to excessive noise, generators are to be used ONLY during emergencies
unless permitted by the park manager.
--Oil changes and other types of vehicle maintenance are not allowed in the
park. *Some minor repairs may be permitted with manager approval.
--Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Be respectful of your neighbors and
always keep noise at a considerate volume.
--You are responsible for your children and visitors' behavior. Attend to them at all times and don't let
them wander through other guests' RV sites.
--Any action or behavior by you, your children, or your visitor(s)
resulting in law enforcement intervention will result in your immediate
eviction from the park without refund.
--The Campground, its associates and/or its employees are not
responsible for any accidents or injury to you, anyone in your travel
party, or your visitors. In addition, the Campground, its associates and/or its
employees are not responsible for personal property lost or stolen, damage to
cars, RVs, or any other personal property on the premises.
--Guests will be charged an additional $150 fee for debris or pet droppings
left in an RV site upon departure. In addition, damages to a site will be
charged to the guest for professional repair, plus the regular nightly rate for
time that the site is unrentable until repairs are completed.
--Special Notice: Do not allow your children to play within 20 feet
of the west border irrigation ditch. The ditch may have a fast, deep,
and constant water flow.
Deposits:
$10 per night with a maximum deposit of $100.
By signing
this document, I/we agree to all the rules, regulations, terms and
conditions of Captain Critters Country Campground (Campground). This is a legal
and binding document. I/we agree to hold the Campground and any/all its
associates harmless for any accidents, injuries, damages, or liability, however
caused. I/we agree that court action, for any reason, will not be brought
against the Campground, its owners, or associates now or any time in the
future. I/we further understand that no medical or property insurance benefits
will be provided for injuries or property damages occurring, however caused,
while at the Campground.
